Why Read Radiant Hope?
Life is an adventure, and sometimes it is downright scary. Trials come in all shapes and sizes—job loss, broken relationship, relentless addiction, medical emergency. How do we safely travel down life’s path when it grows dark? The Bible radiates light in the midst of darkness. God offers us hope when life seems hopeless.
Join me each week as we look at passages of scripture that encourage us. See how God has brought hope to His people throughout the Old and New Testaments. And learn some Biblical principles that will help us be prepared before the dark clouds appear.
Who is Frank?
I am a retired pastor and teacher. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration from National University, a Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, and a teaching credential from California State University Bakersfield. I am also the author of the book: Spiritual Vitality, Are you due for a check-up? Available on Kindle.
My wife and I were married in 1974, and have three children and four grandchildren. During those five decades together we have experienced many times of celebration, but also times of desperation. My wife and I have spent many days and nights at hospitals, praying for a loved one to pull through. On many occasions we have celebrated God’s gracious healing. But we have also mourned at the bedsides of family and friends who did not recover.
So, I have been trained as a pastor to offer words of encouragement. But additionally, I will be able to share from my experience as a fellow struggler.
